Kids Fishing Derby June 14, 2003
Run in conjunction with Illinois DNR's Free Fishing Days and cosponsored by the Batavia Park District
64 Kids participated in the derby this year and a total of 37 fish were caught and released. Everyone enjoyed the hotdogs, chips, pop, supplied by the Batavia Park District. All kids went home with a prize thanks to the wonderful businesses who donated merchandise.
